We believe access to nature fosters community resilience. Studio Nectary advocates for environmental justice by supporting initiatives, projects and programs that are driven by collaboration, environmental stewardship and transparency.

We facilitate creative collaboration through a participatory planning and design process that translates ideas into action. We support you in achieving your goals by creating action plans that can be implemented with community members, local government and organizational support.

Our workshops are designed to take your community or staff through the process of facilitating a participatory planning and design process for your project or program. Our EP Homeowner Toolkit provides you with an outline of all the things to do and maintain once the excitement of buying your first home settles in. Many items in this toolkit are useful if you are a long-time homeowner as well. We share our annual maintenance tips, a list of reliable contractors, how to work with the appraisal district, DIY tips for improvements, and tools for keeping everything organized.

We lay out best practices for planning, design, stewardship and material use for your homestead. We hope to provide people with a guide and inspiration to get them excited and feeling prepared to take the first step into nurturing and growing your home garden.

We believe in neighbors working with neighbors to develop healthy and vibrant neighborhoods that take a watershed and climate action approach to development. We share our approach and process for facilitating neighborhood scale projects that implement rain catchment and grey water systems, low impact development, incorporate edible, native and adapted plantings, urban forestry, way finding, community knowledge sharing and more.
